These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SkyTeller Weather app and related services ("SkyTeller", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

SkyTeller provides weather forecasts, precipitation radar and nowcasting, severe-weather alerts, air quality and pollen information, forecast-model comparison, and related tools. Some features require an active subscription.

Weather information — no guarantee

Important: Weather data is inherently uncertain. Forecasts, radar, nowcasts, and alerts are provided for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Do not rely on SkyTeller as your sole source of information for decisions affecting safety, life, or property. In severe or life-threatening conditions, always follow official government warnings and the guidance of local emergency authorities.

Subscriptions & billing

SkyTeller Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The current price is shown in the app before purchase. Any price change will be presented to you and, where required, will ask for your consent before taking effect.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Managing and canceling

You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Settings app on your iPhone under your Apple ID > Subscriptions, or via the "Manage Subscription" link inside SkyTeller. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the paid period. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to access it by any means other than the app; scraping, overloading, or abusing our servers or the data providers behind them; reverse-engineering or interfering with the app; or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content are owned by SkyTeller or its licensors and are protected by law. Weather data is provided by third-party sources including Open-Meteo, Rainbow.ai, and Apple Weather, and remains the property of those providers. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkyTeller and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on weather information or from any interruption of the service.

Changes to the service or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
